iwi fresh Spa
Unlike most natural skin care products. iwi means “it is what it is” because whatever it is…
that is what it is…FRESH
Meet Yolanda O.,
The Skincare Farmer
As a college student, Yolanda Owens, nicknamed Yogi, couldn't make peace with the idea of using harsh, chemical-laden products on her skin. Inspired by her grandmother who treated family ills with nutrition and self-made herbal remedies, Owens produced her own line of skincare recipes and beauty creams for herself and her friends.
Though she never imagined these recipes would one day launch her into celebrity status as an all-natural "skincare farmer," she did believe that fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and essential oils were the only ingredients suitable for a healthy, beautiful body.
Today, what was once a hobby has evolved into a mission of feeding your skin theTruth with raw veggies from the farm!
Yolanda Owens always envisioned selling kiwi fresh products in WholeFoods, as our missions and values are parallel. For years, iwi fresh participated in various events at the WholeFoods on Ponce (WholeFoods ATL).
One evening Casey and her friend Meade appointments for veggie pedicures. They loved learning how beneficial it is to feed your skin with the raw fruits and veggies. Casey mentioned “We would love to have you in our store!” Yolanda responded “Okay, what’s your store?” Casey: “WholeFoods”, and the friendship was forged!
iwi fresh became the first Raw Skincare Bar in WholeFoods Market. The store on Ponce created a built-in refrigerator to keep our skincare products FRESH!
This year marks 4 years of our WholeFoods Market Friendship. We are expanding through the South Region.
